At HBK Studio, Koa believes that dreams can become reality with hard work and dedication. As a proud graduate of Kapaa High School and a former student at Paul Mitchell in Honolulu, Koa has always been passionate about hair and beauty.
After gaining experience at Macy's salon on Kauai, Koa took the leap to become a booth renter at a local salon. Through years of hard work and dedication, Koa was able to turn his dream of owning his own hair studio into a reality in 2021.
Attending hair shows in New York City has allowed Koa to stay at the forefront of industry trends and bring new inspirations to the island of Kaua'i. Specializing in women's hair services such as cuts, colors, treatments, and bridal styling, Koa is always seeking out the latest techniques and trends to provide his clients with the best possible service.
With a motto of "if you dream it, you can achieve it", Koa's passion for hair and dedication to his craft shine through in every client he serves at HBK Studio.

We use almost every hair color brand out there. We recently are using Pravana, Redkin, Framesi, & Aloxxi.
CUTTING
At HBK Studio, our Cutting service is a little different than you might find elsewhere. From the minute you come into our Hair Salon, you’ll know you’re in good hands. Sit back, relax and let us do the rest.
STYLING
Koa passion for styling speaks for itself, all clients walk out with amazing styles that suit them.
WEDDINGS
HBK studio offers on location hair for all brides. Koa also provides wedding services off island as well.

At our Hair Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys their HBK Studio LLC. experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.
Gift Card Promo policy
All gift card promos are non refundable!
They can only be used for salon services; Gift cards cannot be used for hair extension services & wedding services.
NEED TO CANCEL?
We know that life sometimes gets in the way. That’s why we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to cancelling appointments. If you cancel more than 24 hours before your set appointment, we’ll do our best to set up a better slot for you, no questions asked. If you cancel with less than 24 hours to go, we will have to charge an administration fee.
RUNNING LATE?

HBK Studio LLC. is a very popular Hair Salon. This means we’re usually booked to capacity. If you show up late to your appointment (without letting us know), we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to give you the complete allotted time since we don’t want to keep any of our other clients waiting unncessarily.
